The Bedford Green Party is active throughout Bedford Borough and have three serving councillors.

Castle Ward

We are proud to represent Bedford Borough's Castle and Newnham ward and Greyfriars ward.

Castle and Newnham is represented by councillors Lucy Bywater and Paul Edmonds and Greyfriars is represented by Ben Foley. The people of both wards are lucky to have been supported and advocated for on a number of issues by Lucy, Paul and Ben.

More Hands Needed!

Local party members support our councillors in a variety of ways.  This could be by attending committee meetings and reporting back to our councillors or helping with supporting residents concerns.  Our councillors are awarded funding to help with their ward duties, see what Councillor Bywater organised with council funds here.

We are keen to initiate and support many more local projects, not just in Castle and Newnham and Greyfriars wards. To do everything we would like to do, we need more active members. We are therefore keen to hear from you if you'd like to get involved. Contact information is available here
