Keeping in touch
Now the risk from Covid19 has reduced, Lucy and Ben have resumed a routine of calling on residents to check everything is OK. Mostly so far this has been between the town centre and the railway station, but the councillors have also started to the east of the town, with a routine of alternating between either side of the town. In most streets and blocks of flats, most residents say things are OK. Unsurprisingly, there are concerns about car parking and some concerns about crime, but we've also been able to help residents out when their block of flats was unsafe, and residents of another block who didn't have enough recycling bins.
