The Green Party in Central Bedfordshire is supporting Kate Hill-Lines’ campaign for the Stotfold by-election on 11 September 2025.
Kate is a long-time Stotfold resident, professional artist, and qualified horticulturalist with a particular interest in biodiversity and climate change. She believes local councils can play a key role in supporting nature recovery, sustainable land use, and greener neighbourhoods that benefit everyone.
She also brings valuable experience from her work in the care sector with adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, and is committed to making Stotfold a more inclusive and supportive place to live.
Kate is running because she cares deeply about Stotfold’s future and believes the community deserves a strong, green voice to represent Stotfold on the Central Bedfordshire Council.
Her key campaign priorities are:

✅ Better transport choices and safer cycling
✅ Action on climate change, flood resilience and nature recovery
